Requirements for authors of scientific publications
Authors (or groups of authors) bear responsibility for the scientific novelty, accuracy, and integrity of the results presented in their research. In preparing and publishing a scientific article, they must adhere to the following principles:
Accuracy of results: Authors must present precise, reproducible, and verifiable research findings. The submission of knowingly erroneous, unreliable, or falsified data and statements is unacceptable and violates the ethical standards of scientific activity.
Originality and proper Citation: Authors must ensure the originality of their work. Any use of materials, ideas, or data from other sources must be properly acknowledged with appropriate citation of the author and the original source, in accordance with established referencing standards.
Plagiarism, including unattributed quotations, improper paraphrasing, or appropriation of others’ research results—is considered a violation of ethical standards and is unacceptable.
Acknowledgment of contributions and proper referencing: Authors must acknowledge the contributions of all individuals and prior studies that significantly influenced the research. The article should include references to key and relevant sources in accordance with accepted citation standards.
Prohibition of duplicate publication: A manuscript must not be under consideration by another journal or previously published elsewhere. Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals is considered a violation of publication ethics.
Appropriate authorship: Appropriate authorship: Only individuals who have made a substantial contribution to development of research, acquisition of results, and preparation of manuscript should be listed as co-authors. Inclusion of individuals who did not participate in research is unacceptable.
Consent of co-authors: Corresponding author submitting manuscript is responsible for obtaining consent of all co-authors regarding final version of article and its submission to journal.
Correction of errors If significant errors or inaccuracies are identified during the review process or after publication, the author must promptly notify the editorial office and cooperate in correcting the publication, including issuing corrections or retracting the article if necessary.
Funding and conflict of interest: If the research was funded, authors must indicate the source of financial support and, where appropriate, describe its role in conducting the study and preparing the manuscript. Authors must also disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
Adherence to ethical principles: The editorial board reserves the right to reject any manuscript that does not comply with the above requirements and principles of research ethics.
General information for authors
Publication languages: The journal accepts for publication scientific articles prepared in Kazakh, Russian, or English.
Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively in electronic format via the journal’s official website: https://prom.mtgu.edu.kz
All manuscripts submitted to the editorial office undergo a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers are assigned by the journal’s editorial board.
The corresponding author of the article is indicated in the list of authors with an asterisk (*).
One author may publish no more than one article in a single issue of the journal, including co-authored publications.
The number of authors of a single scientific publication must not exceed five.
The proportion of self-citations (references by authors to their own scientific works) must not exceed 20% of the total number of sources in the reference list.
Responsibility for the content of the article, the reliability of the presented data, and the stated scientific conclusions rests with the author(s). The journal’s editorial bodies may have their own position, which may differ from the authors’ opinion. This is important for ensuring the high quality of scientific publications and protecting authors’ intellectual property rights.
Articles are published in order of priority as materials are prepared for release. The editorial office reserves the right to form the publication queue taking into account the journal’s sections and thematic focus of issues, as well as to accept out-of-turn articles that are of significant scientific interest.
The editorial board reserves the right to accept or reject a manuscript at any stage of the editorial and publishing process.
In order to prevent scientific plagiarism, all submitted manuscripts undergo mandatory screening for improper borrowings, as well as analysis for the use of artificial intelligence systems.

The abstract and keywords must be provided in three languages (Kazakh/Russian/English).
All tables and figures must be numbered. In articles written in Russian or Kazakh, the numbering and captions of tables and figures are оформed in the language of the article with a mandatory English translation provided in round brackets. Article submission procedure.
Technical check — up to 1 month (initial editorial response)
Plagiarism and AI usage check via com:
Originality ≥ 75 %
Similarity 1 ≤ 20 %
Similarity 2 ≤5 %
AI ≤50 %
If exceeded, the editorial office follows COPE rules. For minor excesses, the author is given the opportunity to correct and pass a re-check.
Manuscripts passing the check are sent for double-blind peer review (2 weeks – 1 month).
Based on the review, a decision is made: accept / revise / reject.
Revised manuscripts must be returned to the editorial office within 5 working days. If no response is received, the material is rejected and removed from further consideration.
AI Usage Policy.
The use of AI tools in manuscript preparation is allowed only as an auxiliary means (language editing, literature search, statistical calculations, visualization) under full control of the author. The use of AI must be disclosed in the manuscript (for example, in the “Methods” section) with the tool’s name, version, and scope of application. Manuscripts are not accepted if AI contribution exceeds 50%. AI cannot be listed as an author. Responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the text rests with the authors.
Failure to disclose AI use or plagiarism violations may result in temporary sanctions, including a one-year ban on submission and manuscript rejection.
Publication and submission timeline.
Articles that do not comply with the specified requirements will not be accepted for publication.
